Alex Ying has practiced in leading law firms in CDB and suburban areas. He has appeared for clients in Guardianship Tribunals, Waverly, Liverpool and Central Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court of New South Wales, Federal Court and Federal Circuit and Family Courts of Australia. His areas of practice include property, conveyancing, migration, corporate and commercial, estate planning, criminal justice, guardianship, commercial disputes and family law.
Before joining the legal profession, he was Vice-President for a multinational media company and General Manager the leading Hong Kong television broadcaster in Hong Kong. He is a graduate with Honour from the Law School at University of Sydney.
He holds a master’s degree in international business management (with Honours) and a bachelor’s degree in political science and Economics from an American College. He speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, Shanghainese, Spanish, French and Japanese. He works with Barristers in specialised fields in more complex matters.
